Vehicle Story: I bought this Jeep from my local Jeep parts supplier who got it as surplus from the military in the ´70s. He and his son did the original engine and steering conversion, and added the overdrive, so that the son could use it as a daily driver. I purchased it in ´98 with a VERY rusty tub but it also came with a good surplus replacement tub. I sold the hard top during the rebuild because most people thought it was a mail Jeep (can´t have that!). It took about a year and a half to "complete" the refurb. Then again it´s not REALLY done yet ´cause you just never REALLY finish a Jeep.
