Vehicle Description: This is my 1950 pickup. It is from the first half of 1950, since midyear they went to the pointed grill and fenders. Mine is the older flat style. It has a Chevy 307, an SM465, the Spicer 18, an overdrive.

Vehicle Story: I bought the pickup in 1984, drove it as it was for a few years, then parked it due to some engine problems. I am working on it again now, and have decided to go back fairly original with it. I got an entire original drivetrain and look forward to having it be useable again, instead of being a hodge-podge of adapted parts. Stock is far less power, but at least you can buy the linkages and mounts you need instead of having to make them. Besides, in Southern California there are exremely few original Willys vehicles, especially pickups.
