Vehicle Description: "Big Red." I´m in the midst of a rebuild/repower conversion project. The new/rebuilt axles are a Dana 44 with disc brakes from a Scout II and a Ford 9" rear axle with Detroit True Trac from a F100. The engine is a rebuilt carbureted 350 Chevy V8 with Vortec heads. A NV 4500 heavy duty 5 speed manual transmission and NP241 transfer case have been installed. I plan to keep the exterior stock in appearance, with the exception of aftermarket wheels, which were required to clear the disc brake calipers.

Vehicle Story: Purchased in May of 2003. After driving the truck for a year, I´ve stripped it down to the frame for a rebuild/repower. I´m now doing body work, and installing new power brakes, fuel lines, etc... The jeep trail photos are from a trip into the McCullough Peaks of NW Wyoming.
