Vehicle Description: My 3A is what I consider to be partially restored in Harvest Tan. For practical purposes here in TN, I used an M38 top and have added seatbelts and 11" brakes. I also chose to use M38 seat cushions to keep things similar to the top. Other than that, it´s pretty original.

Vehicle Story: I picked this 3A up in Swainsboro, GA about 7 years ago while I was living in Atlanta. I payed too much at the time, but I´m better educated about such things now. Anyway, it ran so well that I didn´t want to tear it up and not be able to drive it, so the cosmetic work was all done Jan - March of 2003. The firewall tags are missing and I believe the L134 is a replacement based on the casting numbers. The engine was rebuilt in ´81 according to the stamping on the water pump boss and runs very well. It´s got a small leak in the rear seal due to some pitting on the shaft, but I dont have the heart to tear everything apart because it runs like a top. I converted the electrical system to 12v, but regret doing so (I gave away the 6v components as, once again, I didn´t know better at the time). Since all the numbers are gone I determined the year from the ring gear in the reaf diff. I use a DMV number that was assigned to the vehcile many years and owners ago for the title and registration.
