Vehicle Description: I purchased this from a fellow outside of Phoenix. It apparantly spent most of it´s life in Colorado, then was moved to Arizona. It was in fairly good shape rust-wise, but the engine ran poorly. When I started working on the vehicle, I found it had an odd-fire Buick 3.8 V-6 but someone had put in an even-fire rotar, causing it to miss badly. It had a huge hole in the floor board, which I covered up with some careful sheetmetal work. The tires were worn out and on cheap rims. The dash was pretty rough. The seat was bad, but I replaced it with a bench seat from an ´89 Dodge Dakota, which fits very well.

Vehicle Story: I happened to have a newly-rebuilt Buick even-fire V-6 on hand, so I replaced the old V6 with it. I kept the old odd-fire V6´s 40 pound flywheel, so it really has some torque when it gets wound up and you pop the clutch. I rebuilt the transfer case, installing the cone-bearing type intermediate gear for long life & quiet operation. Mechanicaly, it´s in good shape. I have not done anything yet, however, to the body. Strangely enough, when we moved to Maryland from New Mexico, my wife supported moving this vehicle the most because she knew it would do the most work around the place - 21 trips to the dump + 8 stumps pulled so far!
