Vehicle Story: This Willys was used as a farm implement to help maintain a chicken and egg farming operation for many years. It originally was equipped with a Neugren lift and a Spicer rear power take-off used to drill fence post holes with an auger, to plow fields with a single bottom 16" Mouldboard plow, and a Schroeder snow plow to clear the roads. She was a workhorse and was worked hard. The original owner died in the early 1960´s and his widow kept it as a snowplow. The Willys fell into disrepair and I purchased it from her for $2 in 1977. I then used it as a snowplow to clear my 1/4 mile drive for 18 years. We then decided to give her a well deserved rest and rebuild. I restored (frame up) Old Yeller to her present condition (1995-2003). Starts right up, doesn´t smoke and cruises at 35-40 mph (no OD). She drives like a dream and will never see snow (plowing at least) if I have anything to do with it.
