Vehicle Story: My dad had a similar wagon when I was about 10 years old. I have been looking for one for several years. Found this one few weeks ago in a barn about 30 miles from my home. Owner said it was one owner with 15000 actual miles (preacher´s wife in North Arkansas) that it ran good and had no rust. It was parked between a 28 ford roadster pickup and a 56 t-bird all covered with dust and over-spray from his painting old JD tractors. He did not seem to want any questions about the condition of the Willys. I did look it over for 15 minutes but no real check out. Phoned him next day that I would be down later in the week with a trailer and cash. A battery, gas, one plug wire, new oil, new plugs and a tow put in on the road. After about 50 miles of driving I am trying to decide on next step. The 100% original interior is almost perfect and the original paint is still fair except for a poor re-paint of front and top in wrong color. No rust thru. I am currently trying to locate the original owner to find out the history. Someone did a lot of quality re-freshening of drivetrain some time in the past. Grandkids love it -- My wife says it "Smells old" --I am still pondering the whole experience. Will update later. I really appreciate Willys Tech !!!!
