Vehicle Story: My wifes grandfather bought the Jeep new in 1966. In 1987 my brother-in-law "borrowed" the Jeep when his grandfather was out of town and sunk it in the Columbia River and left it submerged a couple of days before he retrieve it. When his grandfather got home from vacation he couldn´t figure out why it wouldn´t start, so I stepped in to help and we figured it had been in the water for quite a while. I rebuilt everything for him to like new condition and in 1990 he gave the Jeep to us for wedding present. Recently I installed an IDIDIT tilt steering column and a new Saginaw steering box. It steers now just like power without all the work of installing it.
