Vehicle Story: Fire engine was referred to as a Commando by Howe of Anderson,In.
Truck served first at Woodville, Western, then Haverford State Hospitals all in Pa. Private collector owned truck and passed away selling to old car collector. This gentleman was ready to sell at same time I happened to run a wanted ad. Rest is history. Restoration is near completion being done in my shop. Original condition was fai but complete. Truck maintains original features as equiped by Howe. Fire pump has also been rebuilt and will be functional. Many original fire fighting parts are included with equipment.
