Free Photo Upload

Now you can easily use photo's on your WillysTech Parts Ad or WillysTech Auction posts, even if you don't have access to a web server. Follow the directions below to upload your photo's and sell your Willys parts fast!!!

Please Resize Your Images Before Uploading -- They WILL Be Rejected If You Do Not Follow The Directions Below.

This photo upload site is for WillysTech Members ONLY. We monitor all file uploads daily. Personal website photo uploads will be deleted...don't waste our time and yours.


IMAGE UPLOADING RULES

  1. Images must be no bigger than 35 Kbytes (35,000 bytes), or they will be rejected
  2. Files may not include spaces in the file name and should be in lower case letters. Rename your files before uploading.

    Examples:
    MY JEEP.GIF (won't work)
    myjeep.gif (works fine)
  3. Auction images should be no bigger than 120 by 120 pixels.
  4. Parts Board images should be no bigger than 250 by 250 pixels.
  5. If you do not know how to resize your images then visit myImager.com. This is a free service that will allow you to resize and change the byte size of your photos before you upload them to WillysTech.
  6. All images will be deleted after one month -- NO EXCEPTIONS.

IMAGE UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Make sure your photo meets the criteria noted above BEFORE uploading.
  2. Type the local path to the photo from your hard drive.

    (example: c:\MyDocuments\My Pictures\jeep003.gif )

    or use the BROWSE button to locate your photo on your hard drive. You can only upload gif or jpg files to WillysTech, all other file types will be rejected.
  3. The BROWSE button will only work with newer versions of Microsoft IE or Netscape. You may need to change the 'Files of type:' drop down box to 'All Files (*.*)' in order to see your photo files. Highlight the photo file you want to upload by clicking on it with your mouse, then click the 'Open' button.
  4. Click the 'Upload My Photo To WillysTech' button. Click this button only once. It may take a while for your file to upload, depending on the file size and the speed of your Internet connection.
  5. A new page will load when your file has been uploaded. It will contain the URL or location of your photo on the WillysTech website. You need to highlight just the URL with your mouse and then right click on the highlighted URL once to open your copy/paste box.
  6. Copy the URL and then return to the WillysTech Parts Board or Auction site and paste the URL (location of the image) into the form box asking for the location of your photo. That's it!!! You did it.
